Do any of you watch the Biggest Loser?

Tyler randomly turned it on one night at the beginning of the season and we've been watching ever since. Last night was the finale and Patrick won! YAY! He was one of my favorites from the very beginning. He was younger and was a father of two. His wife lost a ton of weight by herself while he was on the show. He didn't have a job so I'm super happy he won. His family desperately needed the money.

On one of the challenges earlier in the season, all the contestants were competing for a 2011 Ford SUV. Ada, who made it all the way to the top 3, was ahead in this challenge with another constestant not too far behind her. Patrick was in third. They had to run up and down stairs 20 times. Ada was on her way down her last flight of stairs and was in line to win the car. She stopped at the top of the last stairwell and after a few minutes Brendan who was in second was waiting with her.

Before the challenge started, Patrick was going on about how much he wanted to win this car. He said that he drove an 1989 toyota. Brendan and Ada waited it out and let Patrick win the car. I have goosebumps just thinking about it. They reshowed the footage from that episode last night on the finale. Patrick was crying after he won it. He gave Ada a huge hug and while saying thank you she said you deserve it. Ada was interviewed after and she said she didn't need the car.

I was a little upset with the show before this point because of the game playing that goes on. The best person usually gets voted off because they are the biggest threat. It is extremely annoying to me. Even though the game playing continued all thru the season, I started loving this show so much after that episode! I am also OBSESSED with Jillian Michaels as well. I think she is gorgeous and even though she yells at them she is an amazing trainer and she is actually really sweet.

(This broke my heart when my dad told me but I heard after this next season that is starting in January, Jillian is DONE :( I don't even want to think about it)

I wish there were more reality shows like this one. It is SO incredible to watch people change their lives for the better. Can't wait for the next season to start in less than 3 weeks :)
