Weber County Fair

Last month Tyler and I went to my first demolition derby at the Weber County fair. Boy was it a good one! I will definitely never forget it! We got there a few hours early so we decided to check out the other events going on.

These boys had pimped out these lawn mowers and were racing them! They were all decked out in motorcross clothes and everything! I could not help but laugh! I thought it was so awesome.

Next we walked around and saw some of the animals! That tiger freaked me out it was so big! It was SO pretty though. Next we went to see all the bunnies! This one is so dang cute!

This guy was a monster! He won the prize for the largest bunny! It seriously was as big as a dog haha.

This was one intense sand castle
Before the drivers came out they had a bunch of people from the county that had really old tractors. I absolutely loved it haha I thought it was so awesome!

So hear comes the long part of the story. Basically these two cars had it out for each other in one of the earlier rounds. They both made it to the final round and went straight for each other as soon as they said go. They hit head on and one of the drivers went limp. They stopped the derby, family was running on because they thought the driver was dead. The crowd starting getting riled because the cops weren't letting the family get very close. Fans started throwing beer cans. A family member punched a cop in the face and  got cuffed and escorted out. Next thing you know on our row in the section right next to us a fight breaks out. There is bloody faces and people screaming everywhere. Cops come to break it up and have to tase a 300 pound man that was taking on like 9 guys at once. He gets cuffed and escorted out. Meanwhile life flight rolls in to take the hurt driver away who ends up being okay.
First demolition derby? yes. Scared out of my mind? yes.
As soon as the fight broke out I wanted to leave. it was seriously RIGHT next to us. But Tyler wanted to stay and watch haha.

But at least he offered to protect me if it the fight made it over our way right? Thanks babe for having my back :)

LOVE HIM
